The City of Ellensburg is accepting applications from persons wishing to be considered to fill an upcoming vacancy on the City Council – Position 4. The unexpired term ends

December 31, 2023. The City Council will appoint a qualified person to fill Position 4 until a qualified candidate is elected at the next election at which a member of the City Council

would normally be elected, which will be November 2023.  

Applications are available on the City web page or at City Hall, 501 North Anderson Street, Ellensburg, Washington 98926.

Required qualifications:

    Registered voter of the City of Ellensburg, and

    A resident of the City of Ellensburg for at least one year next preceding the date of appointment.

Applications are due by Friday, August 26, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted. Applicant introductions are scheduled to take place at the City Council meeting

on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, beginning at 7:00 p.m. and interviews, followed by selection at a Special Council Meeting on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 6:00 pm. Applicants
