FDA conducts April 1 inspection at Zirkle Fruit Company in Selah

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) carried out an inspection for foodborne biological hazards at Zirkle Fruit Company in Selah on April 1, based on data published by the FDA.

The inspection’s final report found that there were no required actions for Zirkle Fruit Company to address within their organizational management.

The FDA regularly inspects facilities throughout the U.S. to evaluate whether workplaces and their products meet FDA-regulated safety standards and regulations intended to help maintain public health. The findings are released for public view.

The FDA’s website states that the agency principally oversees the safety and quality of human and animal drugs, biologics, medical products and tobacco goods.
