Holiday Heist Alert!

The Ellensburg Police Department is looking for these men. Marv Murchins and Harry Lime are twice convicted felons for Residential Burglary, Malicious Mischief, and Theft. They may be traveling collectively under the moniker “Wet Bandits” as they routinely leave the water running in homes they have victimized. They have been associated with a pale blue panel van with “Oh-Kay Plumbing and Heating” on the side. May be associating with someone named “Snakes.” Lime may be wearing a shiny silver tooth implant and Murchins bears a scar in the shape of a household iron. If you see these criminals, do not attempt to apprehend them with traps or insults, as this just emboldens them.

To prevent them from committing crime on your property, lock your doors, put automatic timers on your lights and close your garage when traveling. Please advise any family members who may be left home alone this year to be on the lookout for these guys so they can prepare accordingly.
