Lions Pool, the City of Yakima’s indoor aquatics facility, is scheduled to reopen on Monday, March 6th, for regular business hours.

It has been closed since Wednesday, February 15th, due a mechanical issue with the pool’s main pump. Initially, it was thought Lions Pool would be closed through Friday, February 24th.

“We appreciate the community’s continued patience during these repairs,” said Parks & Recreation Manager Ken Wilkinson.  “

When repairs are finished and the pool is ready to be reopened, the City will provide notice using its various communications platforms.
