This week, after a full month of Tuesday night classes at the Ellensburg Police Department, our five Citizens’ Academy members got to celebrate their graduation with Sargeant Brunk! The five-week Citizens’ Academy covers a variety of topics designed to help increase understanding of police work and the role of police in our community. Each member also got to participate in various scenarios as well as get time on the indoor shooting range! We are proud of each of them and their willingness to volunteer their time to learn more about what we do!
