Public Notice Regarding Proposed New Law & Justice Center

0Comments

The City of Selah is required to seek out community members interested  in creating a committee of Selah residents who are against the proposed  voter-approved bond to pay for

the construction and related costs of a  new Law and Justice Center in the City of Selah.  This committee,  generally speaking, would not support the passing of a bond and the

increased taxes it would impose on the citizens of Selah.  Further, this  committee may believe construction of a new Selah Police Station is not  necessary and should not become

the burden of the taxpayers.   Involvement would require educating voters on reasons why passing the  bond would not be in the best interest of the Citizens of Selah.
