Rep. Dan Newhouse announced on May 1 a series of staff updates for his Washington, D.C. and district offices.
The announcement provides details about new roles and appointments among his team members, which could affect the operations and outreach of his office as he continues to represent constituents in Washington’s 4th district.
In the Washington, D.C. office, Noah Yantis will serve as Chief of Staff, Athena McAllister as Director of Operations, Josie McLaurin as Legislative Director, Juan Ayala as Communications Director, Kellie Chong as Senior Policy Advisor, Katie Paxon as Legislative Assistant, Robert Bugner as Legislative Aide, and Max Willens will take on the role of Staff Assistant / Press Assistant. For the district offices, Ashley Stubbs has been named Senior Advisor; Vicki Holleman-Perez is District Director; Rachel McClure is Senior District Representative; Alice Harder and Nancy Munson are Caseworkers; and Emily Garza is Outreach Coordinator.
Dan Newhouse currently serves in the U.S. Congress representing Washington’s 4th district after replacing Doc Hastings in 2015 according to public records. He has held this congressional seat since 2015 following previous service in the Washington House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009 as reported by legislative histories.
Newhouse was born in Sunnyside, Washington in 1955 and still resides there at age 67 according to biographical information. He graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977 according to university records.
These staff changes come amid ongoing work by Newhouse’s office on behalf of Central Washington residents.
