Yakima Valley College enrolls 4,456 undergrads

At Yakima Valley College, 69 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 65 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Yakima enrolled 4,456 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 4.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

96 percent of undergraduates are residents of Washington, and 4 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (55 percent) and white (32 percent).
