INDIVIDUAL STIMULUS PAYMENT

Time is running out for people who don’t file an IRS tax return to register and receive an Economic Impact Payment by the end of the year.

An individual is likely eligible for an Economic Impact Payment if they: (1) are a U.S. citizen or resident alien; (2) have a work-eligible Social Security number; and (3) can't be claimed as a dependent on someone else's federal income tax return.

Individuals can receive up to $1,200, and married couples can receive up to $2,400. People with qualifying children under age 17 at the end of 2019 can get up to an additional $500 for each qualifying child.

People who don’t file a tax return must register with IRS by November 21st (NEW DEADLINE) in order to receive the payment.
