Kittitas County ranked 29th among counties in Washington by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Kittitas County residents was $25,540 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 18,003 households with a population of 44,825.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was King County with $42,772 per year after adjusting for inflation – $17,232 more than Kittitas County. It had 865,627 households with a population of 2,163,257.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Whitman County with $17,153 per year after adjusting for inflation – $8,387 less than Kittitas County. It had 17,910 households with a population of 48,593.
