Program Description
This workshop will give participants the opportunity to learn to draw their own comics, mini comics, graphic novels, or manga. It is open to all levels of ability from absolute beginner to the ambitious cartoonist who wishes to publish their work.
The workshop provides tailored instruction for those who would like more structure and is also an informal session for those who are self-guided or who would like to just sketch. In addition to drawing instruction, we will also have “show and tell” where we talk about the comics we are reading and analyze the storytelling techniques used by the cartoonists.
