The CWU campus community is invited to attend a farewell party in honor of Kremiere Jackson, Vice President for Public Affairs, on Friday, July 8, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in Barge 402.
Jackson has served the university and the larger community for more than five years, leading a diverse department of creatives to improve the university’s reach, increase enrollment, and enhance the university's reputation. During Jackson’s tenure, she worked to collaborate campuswide on strategic initiatives while maintaining a consistent CWU brand and voice.
She also led the successful transition between presidents, spent countless early mornings and late nights consulting on a wide range of crisis communications, and built community and fellowship with everyone—especially those who are traditionally disadvantaged. Jackson’s impact and reach have touched many.
All are invited to come share in a fond farewell on Jackson’s final day. Come wish her well as she takes her talents to Amazon as the Worldwide Global Field Communications Lead.
