The Ellensburg community is gearing up for the annual Bite of the ‘Burg street festival, which will take place downtown Tuesday, September 20, the day before Central Washington
University classes start.
The event — to be held from 2-5 p.m. on Fourth Avenue, between Pearl and Ruby streets — provides an opportunity for local businesses to introduce themselves to a new wave of
customers and show the public what Ellensburg has to offer.
As the Ellensburg Daily Record described it in a recent article, “the 2022 Bite of the ‘Burg is tailormade to introduce CWU students to the community and the historic downtown
district.”
A wide range of vendors, from restaurants to retail outlets, will offer free samples from their businesses. CWU’s own 88.1 The ‘Burg will be broadcasting live, providing the
soundtrack for the event.
