Census Bureau: 82.9% of people in Kittitas County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 44,147 citizens living in Kittitas County in 2021, 82.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 36,609 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 18,346 were male, constituting 50.1%, and 18,263 were female, making up 49.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Kittitas County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
