Summitview Avenue Resurfacing to Impact Traffic

0Comments

A project to resurface Summitview Avenue and replace curb ramps will  impact traffic for about three weeks starting, Monday, September 12th.

Intermittent lane closures will occur on Summitview Avenue from 40th Avenue to 48th Avenue and 56th Avenue to 72nd Avenue during project work hours of 7:00 am to 5:30 pm on

weekdays.  Traffic impacts are expected to extend through Thursday, October 6th.

Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.

Because of heavy traffic volume, drivers can expect delays in the  project area.  Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the  work is completed.

Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.

The schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather equipment failure, and emergencies.
