Other eligibility qualifications include having a valid business license, in operation for at least a year on Sept. 1, 2020, less than 25 employees, have been impacted by COVID-19 by having to reduce operations or close down altogether.
Companies will be ranked based on the information provided, and money will be distributed based on the ranking. Businesses who are approved will be notified by Friday, Oct. 9th.
At its regular meeting on Sept. 15th, the Yakima City Council green-lighted a plan for the Yakima County Development Association to help out in issuing the funds.
