The City of Yakima has rolled out $1 million to provide grant relief for small businesses under the federal Coronavirus, Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES )Act, according to the city website.

As restaurants are allowed to offer limited outdoor seating while under Phase 1, the City of Yakima Planning Division is providing direction for restaurants to follow to keep their workers and patrons safe, according to a press release from the city's website.
