City of Yakima recently issued the following announcement.
The Yakima City Council will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, November 17th, in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2nd Street.
Agenda items for the November 17th regular meeting include:
- A COVID-19 update
- A Small Business Saturday proclamation
- Considering a letter to Gov. Jay Inslee requesting inclusion of funding for Miller Park upgrades in the proposed budget
- Holding the second public hearing on the 2021 Preliminary Budget for the City of Yakima
The following precautions are in place for the November 17th regular meeting due to COVID-19:
- The meeting will be conducted via speakerphone and Zoom.
- Since Yakima City Hall is closed to public access, no community members can attend in person.
- There will be no opportunity for verbal communications, with the exception of a public hearing. (See information below).
- E-mail ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov to provide written comment to the City Council. Written comments received by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 17th, will be provided to the City Council prior to the meeting.
