National Telecommunicators' Week, and we're always glad for a chance to celebrate our county's Kittcom emergency dispatchers. This year, Washington State gave overdue recongnition to dispatchers as their own class of First Responders--along with their partners in Law Enforcement and Fire. We've known for a long time that the people who answer your 911 call are the FIRST First Responders, and a vital link between deputies in the field and those we want to help.
