Yakima City Council October 18th Regular Meeting Review

The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 18th.

Action taken by the Council included:

    Changing Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee member terms to four years with no term limits

    Setting November 1st, 2022 for public hearing regarding Ad Valorem Tax (property tax)

    Setting November 1st and 15th, 2022 for public hearings regarding the 2023-24 Preliminary Budget

    Adopting a new City of Yakima Proclamation Issuance Policy

The October 18th Yakima City Council regular meeting airs on Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC), Charter Spectrum channel 194, beginning at 7:00 pm today, Wednesday,

October 19th.

The City Council’s next meeting is a study session on Tuesday, October 25th, at 5:00 pm. The meeting will be held in Council Chambers and remotely via Zoom. It will air live on
