Reflecting on this occasion, many will be thankful for everyone in the agriculture industry—from farmers to truck drivers—who work tirelessly to ensure families have food on their tables during the holidays.

Central Washington boasts a diverse range of high-quality farm products that enhance these celebrations. The region's wheat fields and exquisite orchard fruits contribute significantly to supplying both local and national markets. Central Washington's renowned grapes produce wines that are highly sought after globally.

The agricultural industry's hard work makes all of this possible. Farmers act as stewards of the land, responsible for harvesting crops that feed the nation. Their dedication often spans generations, showcasing their pride in fulfilling such an essential role. Despite challenges, they continue their efforts, reflecting the resilience characteristic of the nation.

In addition to producers, truck drivers, barge workers, distributors, grocery store employees, food processors, and packaging workers play vital roles in transporting goods from farms and factories to markets and ensuring shelves remain stocked.
