Today, Representative Dan Newhouse of Washington introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives. The resolution aims to censure Representative Al Green from Texas for allegedly breaking decorum during President Trump's address to a Joint Session of Congress.

Newhouse emphasized the importance of maintaining order and decorum within Congress. He stated, "Decorum and order are the institutional grounds for the way we do business in the United States Congress, and the sheer disregard for that standard during President Trump’s address by the gentleman from Texas is unacceptable." He further noted that any member's refusal to follow the Speaker's direction would be reprimanded.

The full text of the resolution is available for public viewing.
