Newhouse announced via Twitter his introduction of a legislative package aimed at safeguarding the Lower Snake River dams while promoting hydropower as a reliable and affordable energy source. The following day, on March 13, 2025, he shared details of his meeting with Secretary Rollins to discuss agricultural priorities.
