Rep. Dan Newhouse, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Washington's 4th district, has been actively communicating his legislative efforts and political stances through social media. His recent posts address significant issues such as energy, agriculture, and environmental regulations.

On March 12, 2025, Rep. Newhouse announced via Twitter his introduction of a legislative package aimed at safeguarding the Lower Snake River dams while promoting hydropower as a reliable and affordable energy source. "Today I introduced a package of legislation to protect the Lower Snake River dams and strengthen hydropower as a reliable and affordable source of energy️"

The following day, on March 13, 2025, he shared details of his meeting with Secretary Rollins to discuss agricultural priorities. He emphasized collaboration to tackle challenges within the industry: ".@SecRollins is already hard at work for American farmers, and it was a pleasure meeting with her to discuss my priorities for the agriculture industry. We have a lot of challenges in front of us, but together we can deliver real results to strengthen the farm economy!"

Later that same day, Rep. Newhouse expressed support for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Administrator Lee Zeldin's decision regarding water regulation definitions aligned with the Sackett decision: "I applaud the EPA and Administrator @epaleezeldin's decision to ensure the definition of “waters of the United States” is aligned with the Sackett decision to provide long-term certainty for landowners!"
